Organic Chemistry on Your Own
Organic Chemistry on Your OwnLearning Organic Chemistry on your own is a very practical and rewarding way to go about learning the subject. You can learn a lot more in your own time without being constantly bombarded with class assignments, and you will also be able to develop an interest in this subject that will keep you interested throughout your life. The first thing you need to do before you start learning organic chemistry on your own is to find out exactly what type of textbook you want to use. There are many different types of chemistry textbooks and knowing which one is right for you will give you a tremendous advantage over other students. You should also find out if you want to purchase your textbook from a book store or if you prefer to purchase it online.Another important thing to consider is whether or not you want to write your own online textbook. If you decide to use your own textbook, you will have to take a class and then make copies for your classmates so they can take the course and study as well. In some cases, online chemistry classes require that you make ten copies of each class assignment so that everyone who is taking the course can be in the class and work on their own book as well.Make sure that you carefully follow the instructions on the web site that you purchase your textbook from. There are many scams out there that claim to sell the very best book available and then when you get your textbook and start studying they will refuse to let you print your own book. By following the instructions that are included on the web site you will be sure to get the right textbook for you.You will also want to make sure that you take an introductory physical chemistry class. This is an extremely important class because it will give you the knowledge you need to understand chemical reactions properly. Although this type of chemistry class is not necessary for all students, it is extremely helpful for others. The final step in your organic chemist ry class should be to practice your knowledge by doing experiments. You should make sure that you use your new knowledge to make some more simple experiments with the concepts that you learned in your physical chemistry class.By studying with your classmates, you will be able to draw on your own experiences and knowledge to find out more about the subject. You should always find out as much as you can about your classmates' experiences and what you have learned by talking to them. As you continue to take chemistry classes you will gain even more insight into the subject and this will help you decide which book you want to purchase. There are several other steps you can take towards learning organic chemistry on your own. You should always consult with an expert about your science homework and read up on all of the different books that are available.

5 Principles to Help Your Child Excel - ALOHA Mind Math
5 Principles to Help Your Child Excel We thought we would share the following 5 essential education and life principles to help your children excel as they prepare to go back to school. Teach Your Child to Reach for the StarsHave them write down their hopes and visions each year. Throughout life we have the tendency to let go of our lofty goals because of fear. Lead them to talk openly about their hopes and dreams. Be supportive. Encourage your child to not give up, especially during challenging times and, especially when obstacles get in the way. Support your children to dream big. Parents can create a book of their vision. Ask them to draw what they want to be, write a brief paragraph explaining what they would do, and what it would mean to them to achieve their dream. By them putting their ambitions on paper helps the child visualize their aspiration. Allow and Teach Your Child to be Inquisitive-Inventors like Ben Franklin and Steve Jobs were innately curious about why and how things worked. Provide your kids opportunities to think outside the box. Take them to a Science and Industry Museum or a Childrenâs Discovery Museum. Provide options where active learning can take place up close in different environments. Teach Your Child the Importance of Education-Obtaining a college education and buying a house are some of the American dreams. Attending college may seem like a lifetime away to children or an un-achievable dream, but once achieved no one can take away your diploma or degree. Children need to be self-assured in who they are to ask probing questions. In order for a child to be inquisitive it is also important he or she feels comfortable asking and answering questions â" either in class, after class, after school, and at home. Teach Your Child to Accept Mistakes and Learn from Them They are starting a new school year which means new teachers, friends, and new concepts. They may meet many challenges in the school year. Teach your child to allow themselves to accept, but learn from their mistakes. The next step is to instruct them on how to solve their own problems. Teach Your Child to Realize They Can Do Anything They Put Their Mind to Do The mind is miraculous. Parents usually see the capabilities and talents of their children long before they do. This is likely why some children may by surprised of their own successes when others knew they had the ability all along. Give them nudges of encouragement. Provide constructive feedback. Most of all consistently tell your children they can be whatever they want to be and achieve whatever they want. How did Howard Schultz, founder of Starbucks, who grew up in the projects in Brooklyn achieve success and build a household name? In his own words, I wasnt afraid to create a company that no one initially believed in⦠Dream more than others think practical. Expect more than others think possible. Care more than others think wise. What are your dreams? What else should we add to this list that you teach your children?

An Online Tutoring Blog For Special Needs Parents
An Online Tutoring Blog For Special Needs ParentsAn online tutoring blog can be a great resource for parents of children with learning disabilities. They are the perfect answer to address questions and queries and offer advice and tips for parents of students with special needs.Writing an online tutoring blog requires some skill, however. It is important to make sure that the posts are informative and well-written so as to help parents get the most out of them. Many parents have found that using word processing software and professional writing skills, coupled with good grammar and style can help increase their reading level and help boost their confidence.Writing an online tutoring blog may require the creation of several different posts so as to allow parents to view them all in one location. This means that they need to choose the best way to organize them, the most appropriate way to create new content and encourage the parents to participate by adding comments and posting on the blog, among other things.Parents will also want to offer useful information and parenting activities to parents as well as the children that will be included in the blog. Most parents prefer to post personal information about themselves and others while others post their parenting information. One should remember that parents with special needs will be more inclined to read blogs and perhaps ask questions if they feel they have been provided with enough helpful information. The success of an online tutoring blog depends on the site creator and how well he or she has prepared the content. Writing and editing a blog is similar to writing a real book. If the blog author is not knowledgeable and good at writing, it may not be successful for the reason that the content may not be sufficiently informative. To insure quality content, one should seek the help of someone who is experienced in blog writing and editing. Some bloggers offer editing services through pay per post and others allow individuals to submit their own content. Most blog site owners to post content in articles format, which makes it easier for readers to navigate and find what they need.Blogs that have the ability to track comments from the parent's computer, and allow visitors to vote for or against the blog post, are a very effective way to grow a forum for parents and students to communicate. Parents may also use the blog to ask questions that they may have about teaching children with special needs. A blog has become an easy and inexpensive way to let parents share their experiences and put forth positive comments about what has worked and what has not worked.
Organic Chemistry Articles - What Is It All About?
Organic Chemistry Articles - What Is It All About? In the field of chemistry, it is very common to see organic chemistry articles in any website of any person. This article is not meant to make you very happy, but we want to point out that it's more important than what kind of organic chemistry articles you'll read on the internet, but more in the fact about what you will read.It is a known fact that many people have been having troubles in finding the best chemistry articles to read, because the way most of them look. You may say, 'well, that's just how they are'. Yes, it is true, but not everyone will be able to get a good one, even when they've researched hard enough.Although the major search engines like Google and Yahoo search out all the articles on the internet, there are still so many people who do not know where to find the best ones. Do you know what it means to be first on the first page? First, it means that there is no way to go past, and the more number of searches you m ake, the more chances you get.So how can you do it? And I would say that the best way is by finding and contacting those people who are first on the web pages of these search engines, then ask them if they would write some articles for you.The reason why they are so popular is because of the fact that they always provide high quality articles, that are written according to the topic you are searching on, with so much knowledge and experience behind it. This is very useful for every individual who wants to learn more about organic chemistry. If you are living in the United States, Canada or the UK, these are countries that have English as the main language, so your chances to communicate with them will also be higher. On the other hand, if you are living in a country like Australia, New Zealand, or Japan, you need to use Japanese or Korean translations, so you need to check first if you can translate.Just before you start writing the articles, it's best if you will try to write your a rticles using a calculator. After you're done with the article, post it online and get as many views as possible.
Why Take Ballet Lessons
Why Take Ballet Lessons 5 Good Reasons to Start Learning Ballet ChaptersBecome more Graceful with BalletBecome More Flexible through Ballet DancingImprove Your Self-Discipline with BalletImprove Your Memory by Memorising Choreography and Ballet RoutinesLose Weight with BalletAchieve Your Goals with Private Ballet TutorialsWe often say that no matter what style of dance you want to learn (contemporary dance, Zumba, jazz, African dance, Cuban salsa, Bachata, Argentine tango, flamenco, rumba, Bollywood, etc.), you should start with a bit of ballet. While this isnât obligatory, the physical and mental benefits (as well as the artistry) of ballet can be transferred to other styles of dance. Whether you do classical ballet, contemporary ballet, a mix of both, ballet dance classes for fun, or an intensive ballet workshop at a ballet school or ballet academy, you'll quickly start seeing the benefits ballet training: grace, elegance, flexibility, discipline, etc.Ballet basically teaches you how to fly without actually flying. It can do wonders for both y our body and mind and seems to help you defy gravity.Nowadays, youâre not expected to break your back studying ballet (though it's still challenging). You have to do your stretches and work on your coordination and balance. Are you still wondering why you should learn ballet?Hereâs Superprofâs reasons why you should study ballet.you can recognise dancers by the way they position their head. Then thereâs their arms. Ballet dancers have tones arms and shoulders. Through regular exercise, ballet dancers have a different posture to those who donât dance.Become More Flexible through Ballet DancingFrom your very first ballet tutorial, your tutor will have you working on your flexibility. While it might be intimidating to see other dancers who are more flexible than you, youâll get there soon enough. It doesnât matter how old you are.Flexibility is an important part of ballet but itâs also useful in other styles of dance like modern dance, dance fitness, hip hop dance, Orient al dancing, and the waltz.Make sure you wear clothes that won't hinder your movement like leotards, leggings, tights, and ballet shoes.Bit by bit, you'll get stronger and more flexible. (Source: indy0333)Warming up is an important part of ballet tutorials since you donât want to risk hurting yourself. Bit by bit, youâll feel yourself getting more and more flexible. Youâll get stronger and youâll be able to lift your leg up higher. While flexibility can take a long time, it doesnât mean forcing your body into uncomfortable positions. That doesnât mean that working on your flexibility is easy, it just means that you shouldnât do yourself an injury.Your body wonât always feel the same each day. Some days youâll be able to touch your toes without any problems and other days you wonât even be able to reach your ankles. You have to listen to your body and never go beyond what youâre capable of doing so that you donât pull a muscle.Ballet is still a beautiful art for m even if the dancer canât put their foot behind their head. On the other hand, working on your flexibility regardless of your age is a great way to avoid tendinitis, arthritis, and rheumatism since you have to extensively warm up and stretch before each session. Regardless of your level, even if youâre ju st attending a taster sessions, youâll usually need to respect a few rules:Donât talk during the lessonListen to the teacherDonât miss lessons (without a valid reason)Donât arrive lateDonât leave before the endBe polite and dress appropriatelyMost of these rules work pretty well in everyday life, too. dance classes near me are a great opportunity to improve yourself, relax, make friends, and work out (ballet is a sport in its own right). You can still learn ballet if you didn't as a child. (Source: sobima)If you want to learn to dance, you have to remain disciplined. You need to focus 100% on your lessons in order to master everything from the 5 foot positions to the perfect pirouette. Youâll see problems arise if you stop paying attention during your lessons. However, if you put your all into each lesson, youâll somehow feel exhausted and rejuvenated at the same time.Improve Your Memory by Memorising Choreography and Ballet RoutinesDuring dance workshops, private class es, or group classes, thereâs a high probability that youâll learn a dance routine.Even if youâre new to dancing, youâll have to learn how to memorise dance steps along to music. If youâve already studied another style of dance, be it ballroom dancing, tap, or Latin dance, you'll probably already have a good idea of how to do it.This is why you need to be disciplined and concentrate fully during your lessons. Otherwise, you wonât remember half the stuff youâre supposed to.The difficulty is still remembering the routine when your next class rolls around. Itâs recommended that you regularly revise your routine so you donât forget it. Donât wait until the night before your next class, youâve probably already forgotten some of the most important aspects of it.Music is an important part of dancing. However, donât worry if youâre not an expert in it, youâll learn. Youâll learn how to move in time with the music and count along with the beat.Donât forget to listen to your teacherâs feedback so you can improve for your next lesson. Even a prima ballerina assoluta couldn't learn their whole part in Swan Lake or Giselle in just one lesson! Donât think of ballet as just a physical activity, itâs also a mental and artistic activity so make sure you warm up your brain, too!You won't learn all the intricacies of ballet in a day. (Source: pixel2013)Lose Weight with BalletWhile you wonât need to lose as much weight as some professional dancers, ballet can help you lose weight. However, in some cases, youâll gain weight since youâll become more toned.Youâll see this most noticeably in your legs. After a few sessions of pliés, youâll start to see the muscles in your legs start to become firmer. However, ballet wonât bulk up your muscles like other sports do.Forget pilates! With ballet, the end result is slender and toned legs, defined thighs, and powerful heels. The choreographed routines in ballet are great for conditioning yo ur body and each time you participate in a ballet class, you'll be one step closer to achieving your fitness goals.Your rear will become more curved and your arms will become more defined. Ballet is the perfect sport for the feminine form.Achieve Your Goals with Private Ballet TutorialsIf you've got an audition or rehearsal coming up, private ballet tutorials are a great way to focus on your goals as a ballet dancer. A tutor (who can act both as your ballet coach and artistic director) can help you work on a particular ballet technique (pointe technique, for example), choreograph a routine, or just give you the confidence you need before the big day.If your goals aren't as big as that, don't worry, beginners can be taught the absolute basics of ballet before you move onto intermediate dance training further down the line. You don't need to be auditioning for the Nutcracker with the Royal Ballet or part of a dance company to work with a dance instructor. Some people are too shy to do a dult classes in groups or just don't aspire to become the next George Balanchine (he founded the New York City Ballet and was a famous choreographer known as the father of American ballet). Working one-on-one with a private tutor is also beneficial when the class schedule at your local dance school doesn't work for you. When it comes to your dance education, you need to choose what works for you and while drop-ins are useful for those with irregular schedules, getting private tuition from the comfort of your own home can be even better (given you've got the space!).Just make sure to pick the right tutor for you. If you've never danced a day in your life, you probably don't need to pay a premium for an experienced choreographer from a national ballet company. However, if you're an experienced dancer, absolute beginner adult ballet classes won't be right for you.Do your research before you put on your pointe shoes and make sure to take advantage of the fact that many ballet tutors offe r free tuition for the first hour of instruction. In short:Ballet can promote grace, elegance, and femininity. You can use ballet to work on your flexibility, which will improve gradually, without pushing yourself too hard. You donât have to be able to do the splits to start learning ballet and flexibility will help you avoid injuries.Discipline is an essential part of ballet dancing. It can also help children calm down and focus.Ballet is also an intellectual discipline. You have to memorise the routines your teacher gives you to learn.Ballet is one of the best sports for shaping your body as it firms muscles and the skin.In addition to attending a dance class in one of the dance studios around the country, you can also get a private tutor to introduce you to all the benefits of ballet.Read our article about the history of ballet!
What to Know About Choosing a College Application Platform
What to Know About Choosing a College Application Platform The following is a guest post written by Anna Carapellotti of Admissionado, a premier college admissions consulting company focused on helping students get into their dream schools. In addition to choosing which schools to apply to this year, rising high school seniors may have another choice to make: which college application platform to use. With the new Coalition app being released this year, some schools offer as many as four options to begin the path to admission. Here, we will explore four application portals and what each one has to offer: The Common Application With over 600 schools in its network, The Common Application invariably offers access to more institutions than any other platform. Its membership is diverse, including colleges that are public, private, large, small, secular and religious, though they did receive some flack for changing their membership rules in 2014 to no longer require holistic admissions. (This means that member schools are no longer required to review students beyond their numbers using personal statements, school supplements, and letters of recommendation.) The Common App has truly simplified the admissions process, aggregating each applicants information in one place and preventing them from having to re-enter details of their background and education over and over. This also enables students to manage most (if not all) of their deadlines in one place. They even released a mobile app last year, Common App onTrack, to help students keep track of their applications Even with all of the hype surrounding the new Coalition app released this year, the Common App will likely remain the most popular for students, simply because it is so convenient and trustworthy. The Coalition Application Though the Coalition for Access, Affordability, and Success has also simplified the information collection process for students, it offers less options in terms of schools (just 56). Whats unique about this platform is that it gives students the opportunity to start planning early. One of the main features of the Coalition is the Virtual Locker, a free repository for students to store their work throughout high school. Such work could include a class essay, a video from a school performance, a piece of art created by the student, etc. The Virtual Locker allows students to begin storing items as early as ninth grade and then submit them to colleges and universities later as part of their application. Another advantage of the Coalition is the Collaboration Space. Once students have stored work in their Virtual Locker, they can use the Collaboration Space to get feedback from teachers, counselors, and mentors, who can then engage with the students, measure their progress, and offer advice on coursework and application steps. Each student has complete control over whom they collaborate with and what items they choose to share from their locker. The Coalition aims to make the application process more holistic by getting a more complete picture of applicants. This could include allowing students to add supplemental essays or submit things that are out of the ordinary to better represent themselves. However, it remains unclear whether students will be able to submit more via the Coalition as opposed to using another platform when applying to a particular school. The Universal College Application The Universal College Application (UCA), ironically, is the least universal, as it can only be used to apply to just 34 schools. While all of the schools on UCS are accredited, this portal is like the Common Appin that it does not require schools to use a holistic review process. Questbridge Of all of the application portals, Questbridge is the most competitive, as a successful application could grant both admission to a top school and financial support. This platform has partnered with 39 of the most selective research universities and liberal arts colleges with the goal of matching high-achieving, low-income students with an outstanding education and a full, four-year scholarship worth over $200,000. While there are no strict cutoffs for applying, Questbridge applicants should possess a high level of academic achievement that meets or exceeds the criteria of the partner schools admissions standards. In other words, applicants should have a profile that could get them into the Ivies, MIT, Amherst, and more. Its important to note that this application is due earlier than most (September 27). However, students who are not selected as College Match finalists are able to easily apply early and regular decision using the Questbridge platform. School-specific applications Some schools have made it easy (or more difficult?) by developing their own application portals. MIT, Georgetown, and all of the University of California campuses use their own systems, citing that they like the flexibility that having their own app gives them. For example, this year, the University of California has replaced the personal statement with a series of shorter personal insight questions, which they hope will help them get to know students better. MIT, on the other hand, offers students a chance to share hands-on projects they have worked on through the Maker Portfolio. When choosing an application platform this year, we encourage students to start planning early. See which platforms the schools you are interested in are using and make a game plan that will simplify your life and maximize your chances of getting in. The film tells the tale of a high school in Richmond, California, whose basketball team, though undefeated, are performing poorly academically.Basketball is a demanding sport. Even more so when your coach makes you pass exams! (Source: pixabay.com)Coach Carter, played by Samuel L. Jackson, arrives at the school and ensures t hat his basketball team adopts a disciplined approach to both basketball and their school. In order to do this, he benches players who are not performing well in their other classes and only plays those who follow his rules. He even makes the students sign contracts outlining what's expected of them and a code of conduct that they must adhere to.Without saying too much, heâs pretty strict. Obviously, a personal trainer neednât draw up these types of contracts with their own clients. However, it is a good idea to get your goals and objectives in writing and there are also plenty of other things that can be learned from Coach Carter's approach and applied to a variety of coaching regimes (strength training, fitness, weight loss, etc.).Itâs about finding the perfect mix of tough love while understanding the psychology of your clients. Coach Carter teaches us that we need to know our students, their strengths and weaknesses in order to get the best out of them in any type of train ing! A personal trainer needs to know how to work with what theyâve got. Just like Samuel L. Jackson who somehow manages to get the impossible out of his players both on and off the court...Find fitness classes near me for personal training. The hiring of Boone as the head coach triggers tensions in both the town and the dressing room.Boone does everything he can to bring the team together despite the fervent racial tensions at the heart of the team. While a difficult challenge, he starts to make progress.Team sports require different preparation. (Source: pixabay.com)Although the film takes place in 1971, its lessons still apply today. Personal trainers all over the world can take inspiration from both the film directed by Boaz Yakin and the true story that inspired it. The filmâs lessons are particularly applicable to those training for team sports and working on dressing room harmony and chemistry. After all, thatâs the job of the personal trainer, to get the best out of their athletes by fostering an environment of trust whereby their students can give their all.Without ignoring the racial aspects of the film, the trust built between players and their coach is inevitably what leads to the success of the coaching programme. Denzel Washington in the main role is uncompromising in the face of complaints as he lets his results do the talking. This makes you hope that everyone can find the right coach for their needs.Moneyball: Sport Film by NumbersHere we have another film based on a true story and probably one of the best baseball movies of all time (sorry, Field of Dreams). Directors seem to love these kinds of tales, after all. Moneyball, which was directed by Bennett Miller in 2011, stars Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. It turns out that statistics can help you perform better. (Source: pixabay.com)The film covers the story of the Oakland Athletics new manager trying to assemble a baseball team with a limited budget. Things look bad for the team until the new manager decides to take a different approach to putting his team together. No money? No problem. Billy Beane (Brad Pitt) hires a statistician (Jonah Hill) to draft players based on their stats rather than the recommendations of scouts. The goal is to put together a statistically successful team!Based on a true story, the film Moneyball focuses on the art of strategy in sport. You canât ignore stats in personal training, either. How can you train someone without evaluating their strengths and weaknesses? After all, strength training, weight loss, and fitness training all include stats to some degree!Even when it comes nutrition, youâre going to need to look at the numbers. Youâll need to keep an eye on how many calories each meal contains as well as its nutritional value. You need to carefully work out intake and how much energy is being used in order to safely calculate weight loss. And a potential client is going to look into a prospective trainer's certification and stats when trying to find a personal trainer online.Science and statistics are therefore an integral part of sport and training.Any Given Sunday: The Art of the SpeechAnother sports film with a legendary actor. Any Given Sunday (1999), directed by Oliver Stone and starring Al Pacino, tells the story of an ageing coach whoâs out of touch with modern Ame rican Football, ill-disciplined players, and undiplomatic managment. In the film, Pacino plays the role of Tony DâAmato, the coach of the Miami Sharks (not to be confused with the Miami Dolphins, the team in the NFL).It can be very important what your coach says. (Source: pixabay.com)The film starts with the teamâs star quarterback (Dennis Quaid) getting injured and being replaced by a young unknown quarterback (Jamie Foxx). Cameron Diaz plays the young ambitious president of the Sharks whoâs uncompromising with her coach.Any Given Sunday covers the difficulties encountered in coaching unfocused athletes unwilling to listen to advice. Above all, Any Given Sunday includes a scene of one of the best pre-game speeches youâll ever see. 4 minutes of inspirational cinematic wonder. Is there any better motivation than seeing a student pick themselves back up? As a personal trainer, youâll know that what you say can be hugely important and inspiring and encouraging your trainees is integral to the job. This is the biggest advantage to hiring a personal trainer rather than simply going to the gym. When their confidence is low, itâs up to you as the coach to say a few words of encouragement to get them back on their feet on back on task.Million Dollar BabyLast but not least... Million Dollar Baby. Just like Rocky, this film also won the Oscar for Best Picture. With Million Dollar Baby also winning Best Director, Hillary Swank winning Best Actress, and Morgan Freeman winning Best Supporting Actor, the film had a great team.Boxing seems to be a great sport for cinema. (Source: pixabay.com)Again like Rocky, the film is about darker side of boxing: motivation, solitude, poverty, and giving your all for a sport... In short, Million Dollar Baby is synonymous with never giving up and believing in yourself.Moving, funny, and tragic, the film teaches us that a coach should never let their athletes give up. They have to keep going!Itâs time for you to find your coachi ng style!
